Privacy Policy — Beam — Live Display

LogsNX LLC · Effective 30 August 2026

Beam — Live Display ("Beam") is an Android TV application published by LogsNX LLC, Austin, Texas. It shows a live operations board from a LogsNX ERP site that a business administrator has linked the TV to.

What Beam collects

  • A device identifier generated by the app on first launch (a random UUID). It is not tied to the TV's serial number, advertising ID, MAC address or account.
  • Device model and operating-system version, and the app version, used to keep the fleet up to date and to support you.

Beam does not collect names, email addresses, location, contacts, photos, browsing history, or any advertising identifier. Beam contains no advertising and no analytics SDK.

Where information goes

The identifier, model and version are sent to LogsNX's directory service (cloudnx.logsnx.com) so a TV can be paired to the correct business site. After pairing, the TV communicates only with that business's own LogsNX ERP site, which the business controls. LogsNX does not receive the operational data shown on the wall.

What the wall displays

The content shown (technician names, job status, schedule figures) belongs to the business operating the site and is governed by that business's own policies. Beam's "Floor" mode, enforced by the site, prevents financial figures and customer details from being sent to a TV in a shared space.

Storage and deletion

Credentials and the paired site address are stored only on the TV, encrypted by the Android keystore. Unlinking the TV from the business site deletes them immediately. Uninstalling the app removes everything, including the device identifier.

Children

Beam is a business tool and is not directed at children.
